Who We Are
The Lakewood High School Theatre Company is a collection of students both in and outside of school that work to foster an empathetic community of passionate artists, working together to tell the stories that need to be told – ultimately forming a legacy of love in and for the arts.
Consisting of over 140 active members, the LHS Theatre Company is one of the largest high-school theatre companies in the state of Colorado. To learn more about the LHSTC, including it's directors, board of officers, and accolades, please click the button below.
Student Opportunities
In School
Lakewood High School offers one of the most comprehensive theatrical arts programs in Jefferson County, with two dedicated theatre teachers and 8 theatre classes, ranging from acting to technical theatre to unified theatre.
Behind the Scenes
The LHSTC offers eight different technical crews for each staged production, and students can partake in any of the following tech crews: Stage, Sound, Lights, Publicity, Paint, Costumes, House, or Props.
On the Stage
Offering more than seven fully staged productions every year, each LHSTC season consists of at least 2 fall plays, a spring musical, and the student-directed spring one acts, students have plenty of opportunities to act onstage throughout the year.
