The Lakewood High School Theatre Company is a thriving community of more than 130 passionate performers, technicians, and creatives. As one of the largest high school theatre programs in Colorado, we build upon a rich legacy of excellence with award-winning productions that captivate and inspire. With each season, the LHS Theatre Company continues to grow, pushing the boundaries of storytelling and stagecraft.

Throughout the years, the LHS Theatre Company has received numerous awards and honors.  Lakewood Theatre has been honored with 25 Bobby G nominations and 12 Bobby G awards, which are the state of Colorado's premier awards, presented to individuals and ensembles for outstanding accomplishment in high school musical theatre.  


Many students from Lakewood have also received awards at ThesCon, the Colorado Thespian Conference, for outstanding performance and technical design, as well as collegiate scholarships to continue pursuing the performing arts at a higher level of education.


In it's history, the Lakewood High School Theatre company has had over 65 staged productions, not including practicums. These productions include plays, musicals, and Unified Theatre productions.
